RRW announcement:  Ways to stay drug free: 
  • find alternative methods for coping with life's ups and downs 
  • make sure that your life is well-rounded and full
  • if you are depressed or are under some kind of physiological pressure, find professional help 
  • learn to resist peer pressure 
  • know the dangers
Congratulations to the volleyball team on their regional championship victory over Okawville last night. Good luck to the girls as they play in the Sectional starting Monday at Raymond Lincolnwood. They will play Greenfield at 5:30.
 
This week is Red Ribbon Week.  The dress up days include 
Monday:  Sleep on drugs (wear PJs)
Tuesday:  Black out drugs
Wednesday:  Class colors
Seniors-wear white
juniors:  green
sophomores:pink
freshmen: blue
Thursday:  SCARE drugs away
Friday:  Wear Red


On Friday, there is another speaker coming in ...a counselor about the opioid epidemic.  For this one, we are having students sign up if they are interested in attending.  It will start at 11:15 and run through NAIL. Only those students who sign up will be able to attend. There is a sign up sheet on Mrs. Thoma's door, the superintendent's office door, and the trophy case in the lobby. There will be no Enrichment today, and those students who have not signed up will report to regular NAIL.

FCA events:  
 Girls Weekend Of Champions  - Friday, November 8th- Sunday, November 10th
    Let's get as many girls as possible to sign up!  Located in High Ridge, Mo. 
    Cost; $135.00

FCA Guest Speakers..... Butch and Judy McGill left extra books to share.  Judy is the author of ..... Then God Said To Me:  "I Have Him"
The cost of their book is $15.00 and it's first come first served. Please contact Mrs. Patton if your interested.
 There is a Prayer Locker on the first floor, please feel free to fill out the index cards and place the prayers in the locker.

  
On Monday, November 4th a representative from SWIC will be here to meet with interested juniors and seniors during NAIL. The United States Navy will be here for a lunch visit next Wednesday.

Seniors-The CBAI Foundation for Community Banking 2020 Annual Scholarship Program is offering scholarships.  An essay is required.  Details available in the high school office.  Deadline: 3-4-2020
