Congratulations to the volleyball team on their second place finish in the Labor Day Volleyball Tournament. Joelli Wahlig was named to the All Tournament team.

There will be no golf practice today or Monday.

Now that the majority of us have our chromebooks, just a reminder that they are not to be taken into either the gym or the cafeteria during lunch. Please put them in your lockers during PE and lunch.

Any student who still has a track uniform from last year needs to turn it in to Peggy.

Students, just a reminder that cell phones are to remain in your locker except during lunch. Walking around with phones during passing periods is not allowed, nor is having them during NAIL. If you want your phone during lunch you will have to make a trip to your locker to get it. This was all discussed during our class meetings on Tuesday.

The first FCA Huddle Meeting will be next Wednesday, September 6 @ 7:30 AM in the HS gym.  Join us for food, fellowship, and fun!

NACUSD #60 would like to support the BULLPEN BAR and GRILL with their HARVEY RELIEF EFFORTS by asking students to bring in a nonperishable food item. All items will be taken to the BULLPEN to be delivered to the Houston area. We know this is short notice, but please send in items on Friday, September 1 as delivery to Houston will be Saturday after the drive is over. If you cannot send an item in Friday, please donate at the BULLPEN Saturday.

Do you have a desire to travel the world? Live in another country? Become fluent in another language? Every year over 8,000 students from all over the world leave their family, friends, and schools behind for an adventure in a totally different culture living with host families, attending a new school, and learning a new language. Besides learning about a new culture and making new friends, they all learn more about themselves. Rotary Youth Exchange gives you the opportunity to spend a high school year abroad and fulfill your dreams. If you'd like to have the experience of a lifetime, the Rotary Club of Freeburg invites you and your parents to attend a Rotary Youth Exchange Informational presentation on either: Wednesday, September 6th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Carbondale High School Cafeteria, or Thursday, September 7th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church in O'Fallon. If you have any questions, please contact Rich Lunan at 618-954-8701.
