Congratulations to the volleyball team on their win over Valmeyer last night. The bus will leave tomorrow at 6:45 for the Herrin Tournament. Any JV or F/S players who want to ride the bus are welcome to go.

FCA is meeting in Mrs. Dehler's room during homeroom today.

ALL CHEERLEADERS must stop by Mrs. Dehler's room at some point today to pick up their Volley for the Cure info packets. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. Come down during passing period any time today!

The Pep Club would like to remind you all that Monday's theme for the game against Gibault is Jacket Spirit. Wear your crazy purple and gold. 
Tuesday night's game against Steeleville will be black out. Let's fill those stands with a sea of fans wearing black from head to toe! 
You can always refer to the the schedule of games and themes posted on the Pep club bulletin board in the cafeteria hallway.

Volley For the Cure hair bows are for sale all next week. They are $5. Grab yours before the big game on Thursday! They are first come, first served. See Mrs. Dehler for details.

Juniors who are interested in taking the PSAT need to sign up in the office. The deadline to sign up is today. The test costs $15.

 High School Students will be able to place their orders for Volley For The Cure Week:  There will be a table located in the High School Lobby starting on Monday during Homeroom.  The restaurants that are participating in the Volley For The Cure are the following:
Monday, September 28th - Steamboat Delivery
Wednesday, September 30th - Bull Pen Delivery
Friday, October 2nd- Village Pizza

Please keep in mind that 10% of all food sales that day will go to Susan G. Komen and other local organizations to help fight breast cancer.

Jodi Griffin will be selling Pink Carnations for Volley For The Cure during Homeroom for the next three weeks. The following is the schedule:

Tuesdays and Thursdays - Junior HIgh Homeroom

Monday/Wednesday/Fridays- High School Homeroom

Carnations will be sold for $2.00 and will be delivered during Lunch on Thursday, October 1st.

Students: if you need to leave school early for any reason, you are responsible for charging your chromebooks in their cart. Do NOT leave them in your lockers overnight.

Saturday, September 26th is the Metro East Sporting Clay Shoot at the Sparta World Shooting Complex.  We need volunteers!  Please let me know if you have any FCA students who are willing to come out and serve with us.  We are looking for 25 total kids.  Last year we had 10 to 12 so we need more this year.  The commitment is:


-          7:00am – 1:00pm

-          Shake hands and thank participants for supporting FCA

-          Interacting with shooters at stations

-          Pushing the button to launch the clay pigeons

-          Smiling and representing Jesus Christ and FCA

-          Wear an FCA shirt


 Volleyball Players have Volley For The Cure Shirts for sale!!!  So, please track down a member of the New Athens Volleyball Team and order your shirts for the 2015 Volley For The Cure!!
