First floor is dismissed early for lunch next week.
 
Congratulations to Ariana Muffo on being awarded a $500 Jim Heil Career and Tech Ed.Scholarship.
 
Congratulations to the girls who participated in last night's 21 team Nashville Track Invitational. Several girls ran personal best's including Brandi Garrett in the 1600M and Courtney Steiger in the 800M.  Molly Works earned individual medals in the 3200M (3rd) and the 1600M (6th) while running her best times of the season.  Zoey Hill and Abby Wolf also ran some of their best times in the 100 and 200 meter races.
 

A senior class picture will be taken during activity period on Tuesday, May 3.  All seniors - please wear your senior t-shirts on Tuesday.

High School cheerleading tryouts will be May 17th and 18th, 6-8p.m.  

 
 

·         Seniors- If you are in the top 10% of your class and attending SWIC you are eligible for the Top 10% Scholarship at SWIC.  Applications are available on-line.  Details are available in the guidance office. 

·         Seniors-Washington University invites you to attend a session on Essay Writing Tips and a Financial Assistance session for parents on April 28, 2011 beginning at 6:30 p.m.  There is also an optional campus tour at 5:30.  For more information check in the guidance office.

·         Seniors-The General Assembly Scholarships are being offered.  One scholarship is thru the U.S. Senate and the other by the State Representatives.  Details on these scholarships are available in the guidance office.  Deadline: 4-30-11.

 

Seniors will be attending the Rotay Luncheon on Monday.  They will need to be dismissed at 11:45 and they should return by 6th period.

 

The play cast and World Lit class will be taking a field trip to Carbondale today.

 

The baseball team is scheduled to play East St. Louis at home today. They are also scheduled to play n the Cobden Tournament on Saturday with their first game at 11AM against Benton.

 

The FS track team is scheduled to compete at Columbia on Saturday.

 

There will be a volleyball meeting during homeroom on Monday in room 102.

 

The FFA banquet is tonight.  The silent auction is at 5PM and the meal is at 6PM
