Attention all students and faculty:  The baseball team will be playing at GCS Ballpark, home of the Gateway Grizzlies, on Thursday, April 29th.  The game will start at 7:00pm against Mr. Noffke's Alma mater, Stewardson/Strasburg.  Tickets are $4.00/seat and can be purchased from any baseball player.  We hope to see you there!


The yearbook staff is asking for those attending prom to take some candid pictures of "getting ready for prom".  These should be brought in next week and given to Mrs. Albert during HR or Activity.


Honor Society members need to have their induction ceremony attendance numbers in to Ms. Boyles today.  We will be meeting shortly to practice for the ceremony.


The co-ed volleyball fundraiser is Saturday, April 24th.  All teams must turn in liability waivers and money to Mrs. Patton by:  Wednesday, April 21st.  The cost is $7.00 a person to play on a team and $3.00 Admission to watch.  A concession stand will be available with St. Louis Bread Company for Breakfast and Pizza Hut for lunch! All Proceeds go to New Athens Volleyball Program.

Selected students from Mr. Doehring's computer classes will be competing at SWIC today. The computer team will leave around 11AM.
FCA money for the Cardinal's tickets is due today.
Selected FFA members will have dairy judging at SIUC today.
Morning and afternoon Beck students will not attend those classes today.
Prom is this Saturday in the Hecker from 7:30 to 10:30 PM.  doors will open at 7:00.


The track team had some great performances this week.  Personal records were set by Adam Ingles and John Gregory in the 400, Abby Wolf in the 100, Briana L'Hote and Zoey Hill in the 200, and Zach Bogacki in the 1600.  Zach's 5:02 in the 1600 placed him fifth on the all-time New Athens top five.  Molly Works also set new school records in the 800 and 1600 while Cameron Reuss  broke his school record in the 400. The 4X800 relay team of Bogacki, Ingles, Mohr, and Reuss also broke the school record and the 4X200 girl's relay team of Hill, Miller, Smith, Wolf tied the school record.


The baseball and softball teams play at Breese Central today. Players should be dismissed at 2:30 and the bus leaves at 2;45.

Senior Class Trip permission slips need to be turned in to Mr. Bambrough in Room 305 by end of school today.
