Teaching a Lesson

Friday, students prepared a demonstration of a simulated drunk driving accident involving underage teens.  The demonstration was conducted as if an authentic accident had occurred, allowing high school students to witness the devastating outcomes that could result in conjunction with drinking and driving.

Several New Athens emergency departments took part in the demonstration including police, fire, and ambulance.  Heil Schuessler Funeral Home even removed a "fatality."  Students involved in the demonstration were Ryan Stehl, Brittney Weber, Corey Weber, and Bobby Poe.
