All students may go in the gym during lunch period today

Semester exams will be today and Thursday. There is an optional homeroom today from 8:15 until 9:43. Students do not have to attend the optional homeroom unless they ride a bus to school. Exams 1-3 will be given today and the high school will be dismissed at 2:06. Bus riders will remain until 3:16. Exams 4-7 will be given on Thursday. The optional homeroom is from 8:15 until 8:42 on Thursday.  The entire district is dismissed at 2:06 on Thursday

Christmas break begins on Friday although teachers will be in attendance. School will resume on Monday, January 6

FCA will have a Christmas Cookie Decorating party tonight from 6-7 PM in Mrs. Dehler's room. Take a short break from studying for finals and join us for dinner and a fun dessert!

The girl's basketball games scheduled for this week against Governor French and Madison have been canceled. The Madison game is rescheduled for January 17th.

PE students need to remove all items from their lockers as lockers will be thoroughly washed over Christmas Break.

The boy's basketball team plays at Lebanon on Friday

Congratulations to Olivia Hoffman and Alina Lance on being selected Honorable Mention All-Area in Cross country.

Today's lunch is spaghetti with meat sauce for A lunch and hot pocket for B lunch.

· Seniors-Monroe County Electric is offering 2 separate scholarships that are available to students whose family is a member of the Monroe County Electric Co-operative. Information is available in the guidance office. Deadline: 12-31-13. The deadline for the other scholarship is 4-30-14.

Seniors-Vantage Credit Union’s Quest for Education Scholarship Program is offering twenty- $1,000. Scholarships. If you are a member of the Vantage Credit Union and would like to apply, please pick up an application in the guidance office. Deadline: 1-10-14.

· Seniors- The Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship foundation Scholarships are being offered to students with a 3.0 or better GPA. Information on this scholarship is available in the guidance office. Deadline: 1-11-14.

· Washington University is offering a High School Summer Experience. Information on this program is available in the guidance office.
