Today is the last day that Homecoming tickets are on sale in the lobby in the morning.  After that, the prices will go up to $7 a person, $10 a couple and they will not be on sale in the morning.  You wil have to find Mrs. Thoma on your own.  The dance is on December 11 from 7:00 to 10:00.  Doors do not open until 6:30 and will close at 7:30.  Coronation will be at 9:30.

Guest permission slips for  the Homecoming Dance need to be returned to Mr. Works by Monday, December 6th.


The girl's basketball team lost to Gibault last night.  The girls have a  home game against Valmeyer on Monday.


·         Freshmen-Young Achievers Gateway East is offering a program to students based on their achievements, leadership and service, if you would be interested in this program and would like to be nominated, please see Ms. Wolter for details.  Deadline: 12-10-10.

·         Seniors-Anyone planning on attending Southeast Missouri State College-The Jack Buck Scholar-Leadership Award is being offered.  For information please check in the guidance office.  Deadline: 12-15-10.

Sophomore class will meet in the cafeteria in activity period today.


First floor will be dismissed early for lunch next week.

This Sunday will be poster day.  The cafeteria will be open from 2-5 Sunday afternoon.  EVERYONE is welcome to come and participate in the poster decorating.  Remember that the winner of the poster contest will receive 200 points for their class.


 The FFA will be conducting a food drive beginning today and running through December 10th.  There will be boxes in each homeroom/activity period class.  The room that collects the most non-perishable items will be rewarded with a pizza party during lunch and an early dismissal from activity period on December 14th. 


The boy's basketball team defeated Valmeyer last night in the Okawvillw Tournament.  The team plays their final tornament game tonight at 6PM against Marissa.  The boys have a home game on Tuesday against Okawville.


Student Council will meet during homeroom on Monday.
