The boy's basketball team plays for 3rd place on Saturday at 5:15 PM in the Chester Tournament.
The girl's basketball team plays at Waterloo next Wednesday and at Valmeyer next Thursday.
A representative from the Marines will be here during lunch period on Tuesday.
There will be a parent informational meeting on Tuesday, January 17 in Room 205 at 6:00 P.M. for all those interested in the trip to Costa Rica in the summer of 2013.  If you are unable to attend, please see
Ms. Spencer for details.

Juniors are needed to work concessions at tonight’s Jr. High boy’s basketball game.  Any students available should please see me by the end of the day.

Student council members are working on decorations this Monday at 12:30.  Poster day will be on January 28.  That is a Saturday and classes can come and work on their posters any time between 9 and 3.  This poster day is open to all.

·        Sophomores-Illinois Leadership Seminar is now being offered.  If you would be interested and would like to be nominated for this program, please check with Ms. Wolter.   Seminar is being held in Chicago June 8-10th.  Deadline: 1-20-12.
·        Seniors-Who have Multiple Sclerosis or have a parent with MS can apply for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Scholarship Program.  Details are available in the guidance office.   Deadline: 1-13-2012.
·        Seniors- The Hugh G. White & Lewis Lynch Tuskegee Airmen Chapter is offering a scholarship for students entering the aviation, aerospace, engineering or technology field of study.  Details available in the guidance office.  Deadline: 1-14-12.

All volleyball players who are working and bringing soups, breads, lunch meat ,and other items to the tournament on January 28th, need to sign up outside of Mrs. Patton's door.  Also, the order forms for T-shirts, hoodies, warm-ups, shoes, knee pads, and other items need to be turned in by, Friday, January 20.  No money needed for now ---Just all orders!!!!

Students who plan on participating in spring sports (baseball, softball, or track) must have a current sports physical on file before being allowed to practice.

Mascoutah High School will be hosting a "Formal Dress Sale" on Saturday, January 28 from 9AM to 1PM.  The sale include both new and used dresses.  Students can also sell their old dresses for a consignment fee of $5.  Informational flyers are on the bulletin board and the door of the girl's restroom.
Today's lunch menu includes hot dog for A lunch and hot pocket for B lunch.
School will be dismissed at 12:11 today and there will be no school next Monday
