Today is the mid-quarter progress reporting date.  Progress reports will be mailed to parents some time early next week.
Student Council will be meeting with Mrs. Thoma on Monday during homeroom.
Second floor will be dismissed early for lunch next week.

Lifetouch will be here on Wed, Dec 1 at 1:00 to take pictures for fall sports & clubs.  They will be taking pictures for the following groups:  Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball Cheerleading, Play, Student Council, FCA, FFA, Band, Chorus, Art Club




The girl's basketball team has a home gaime against Lebanon on Monday and an away game at Chester on Tuesday.


The boy's basketballteam opens their season with an away game at Waltonville on Tuesday.




"There will be a Freshman Class meeting in the cafeteria on Monday during activity period to plan for homecoming week."


Students who participated in the play need to take their props home



Seniors-U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program is offering forty $1,000.00 scholarships.  Recipients must be attending a 4-year college or university in the fall, and are selected through a random drawing.  Deadline: October, 2010 through March, 2011.


All Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors-interested in attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale-the 4th Annual Southern Illinois High School Reception will be held on  11-20-10 starting  9:00 a.m.  Each student may request up to 3 wristbands to watch the Salukis take on Indiana State in the new Saluki Stadium.  For information, check in the guidance office.


Honor Society members who would like to work at the Santa House should sign up in Mrs. Hogg's room.  The Santa House is open on select Fridays from 4-7 pm and Sundays from 1-4 pm in December.  All dates need to be filled this week.


Honor Society members who would like to help wrap gifts for the Santa House may do so at any time. 


Honor Society officers should meet with Mrs. Hogg during Homeroom today.
