All current and newly elected Student Council members will meet in Miss Howe's room during the homeroom period today.

The cross country boys finished 2nd last night defeating Steeleville, Chester, Gibault, and Okawville, but losing to Marissa.  Top runners were Cameron Reuss, Zach Bickel, and Zach Bogacki in 6th, 7th, and 12th places.  Kyla Miller and Morgan Kelley were the top two girl's finishers in 34th and 35th places. the team runs at Marissa on Tuesday.

The volleyball team lost to Columbia last night.  Their next match is Tuesday at Steeleville.

School will be dismissed at 12:19 (12:12 for the high school) today.  We will follow an abbreviated schedule.

There is no school on Monday due to Labor Day.

From The Handbook:  Inappropriate student dress includes, but is not limited to:  baggy pants, spaghetti straps, short shorts/skirts, midriffs showing, hats, bandanas, extraneous headgear, sunglasses, chains and long straps attached to the clothing, studded items such as pointed rings, bracelents, or neckwear, intentionally altered clothing, and ill fitting garments. Pants must be worn around the waist so as not to slip and shirts must be tucked in or overlap the waistband.  Skirts and dresses must touch the top of the knees and shorts must be at least mid-thigh. Shirts and blouses may not expose the back or shoulder blades.  Sleeveless shirts must have straps with a minimum width of two inches. Any items related to alcohol, tobacco, drugs, gangs or that has a sexual content are not allowed.  Heavy or long coats cannot be worn once classes have started. Clothing shall not have holes above the knees and shall not expose parts of the body normally expected to be covered as per the dress code.
