HS Announcements--March 23, 2011

After Prom tickets will be sold Friday during lunch period.  For more information, see the posters displayed throughout the school.
The FCA will be meeting this Thursday at 6:30PM.
Prom tickets are currently being sold during the lunch period.

Mrs. Hogg's English Communication class will have a field trip to SWIC tomorrow for an Etiquette Workshop.

The Performing Arts Disney Trivia Fundraiser is this Saturday.

Junior Prom Committee will meet today during activity period.

There will a volleyball meting duirng homeroom on Thursday.

Jostens will be delivering senior graduation and other items Thursday morning.  Seniors need to have their money in order to receive the items.

Students bringing a guest to the prom need to complete a guest permission slip and have it returned to Mr.Works no later than next Monday, March 28th.

The girl's track team performed very well last night.  The 4X800 meter relay team of Zoey Hill, Abby Wolf, Lexy Huffman, and Courtnie Niederbrach broke the school record.  Freshman, Jessica Crabtree ran the second fastest 800M run ever and ran one of the top five ever 400M races.  Molly Works placed second in both the 3200M and 1600M runs, losing only to the phenomenal Bush twins from Freeburg.

Lifetouch will be here on Monday, April 18 for spring pictures.  These groups will be included:  softball, baseball, track, math team, FCA, National Honor Society, and VESPA. 

If you sponsor a group that is not listed above and would like pictures taken on April 11, please let me know.  Thanks! 


The prom committee will be selling 2011 Prom T-shirts.  All T-Shirt orders need to be in and paid for by FRIDAY, March 25th. Please talk to any member of the Prom Committee for any details.


Any Freshman/Soph. wanting be Servers at Prom-please contact Mrs. Albert or Mrs.Patton ASAP.    (Keep in mind that the job description includes serving food and drinks at prom and helping clean up after carnation in over.)  Sponsors will pick 6 students from the list a nominees


The baseball and softball teams are scheduled to play at Carlyle today. Athletes will need to be dismissed at 2:15 and the bus willl leave at 2:30.
