High school yearbooks are on sale.  The books cost $40 each and you can get your book personalized with name imprinting ($5 additional) and up to four icons ($5 each).   The yearbook staff will be taking orders during lunch beginning today. The order deadline is May 15.

The baseball and softball  games scheduled at home today against Red Bud have been canceled.  The baseball team will practie, but the softball team will not. The teams are scheduled to play Steeleville at  home on Tuesday.

Congratulations to Ben Junge, Vince Kiefer, and Ryan White on being selected to the all-conference basketball team.

Lifetouch will be here today @2:30 to take team pictures for boys & girls track, and baseball. 

Seniors will have a meeting today during homeroom.
Have your money for class trip = $20.00 - Deadline for money is May 1st
Seniors will vote on a song for graduation &  discuss T-shirts ideas

Selected FFA members will be attending the state livestock judging competition at U of I tomorrow. Those students need to meet in the Ag. room during homeroom today.

Detentions will be scheduled for Tuesday.

Second floor is dismissed early for lunch this week.

The New Athens Police Department is looking for students between the ages of 14-21 to join the Explorer's Program.  This program teaches students about law enforcement, allows interaction with the police department, and looks great on a job application/resume.  Interested students can contact Officer Hill or Officer Spratt of the NAPD, or they can contact high school student Brian Meketa at school or at home.

Seniors will be meeting again during homeroom on Wednesday.
