High school yearbooks are on sale.  The books cost $40 each and you can get your book personalized with name imprinting ($5 additional) and up to four icons ($5 each).   The yearbook staff will be taking orders during lunch. The order deadline is May 15.

The baseball teams has a home game today against Chester.

Third floor is dismissed early for lunch this week and next.

Detentions are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday.

The baseball and softball teams have home games scheduled against Lebanon on Tuesday.

The freshman/sophomore girl's track team finished a close 2nd at the Columbia Invitational on Saturday with only five girls competing. First place winners included:  Molly Works in the two mile (school record) one mile and half mile and Micaela Smith in the high jump (school record).  Other team members who earned ribbons were Kayla Doiron, Miranda Crider, and Katie Stitzel.

The fresh/soph track girls will be participating in the Chester FS Invitational today.  Participants should be dismissed at 2:45 and the bus will leave about 2:55.

The athletic banquet is scheduled for May 13th.

There will be an FFA meeting today during homeroom.

There will be no more Art Club meetings this school year.

The senior Rotary Luncheon is today.  Senior students will leave after fourth period and return during 6th period.  Students and sponsors should initially meet in the high school gym to take attendance.

There will be an informational  cross country meeting for all students interested in possibly participating next fall on Wednesday during homeroom in room 202.  All students who participated in cross country this past fall should attend the meeting, even if they do not plan on running next season or if they are a graduating senior.

Seniors-Local Scholarship~ If planning to attend SWIC and are in the top 10% of your class, you are eligible for the Southwestern Illinois College TOP 10% Tuition Scholarship.  Please check in the office for details.
