The Culture Club will be meeting on Tuesday, from 3:30 until 5:30 in the library. They will be watching The Orphanage.  It is a Spanish horror film. Students will need to get a permission slip from Mrs. Quast that is signed by parents.  Students should also  bring a snack to share


Third floor is dismissed early for lunch this week.


Homecoming tickets will go on sale Wednesday in the lobby in the morning.  The tickets are $5 a person, $8 a couple.  They will ONLY be on sale until Friday, December 1.  After that, the prices will go up to $7 a person, $10 a couple and they will not be on sale in the morning.  You wil have to find Mrs. Thoma on your own.  The dance is on December 11 from 7:00 to 10:00.  Doors do not open until 6:30 and will close at 7:30.  Coronation will be at 9:30.


Guest permission slips for  the Homecoming Dance need to be returned to Mr. Works by Monday, December 6th.


·         Seniors-The 2011 Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship program is offering scholarships to deserving students throughout the United States.  Applications are available on-line.  Deadline: 12-1-10.  

·         Seniors- Vantage Credit Union is sponsoring a Quest for Education Scholarship Program to Vantage Credit Union members.  If you or your parent is a member please check for details on this scholarship in the guidance office.  Deadline: 12-3-10.

·         Seniors-Principal’s Leadership Award is being offered to outstanding student leaders.   If you are interested in this please contact Ms. Wolter.  Deadline: 12-3-10.


A Josten's representative will be here today to deliver class rings during the lunch period.  Students must have their final payments in order to receive their rings.

Lifetouch will be here on Wed at 1:00 to take pictures for fall sports & clubs.  They will be taking pictures for the following groups:  Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Cheerleading, Play, Student Council, FCA, FFA, Band, Chorus, Art Club



The girl's basketball team has a home game against Dupo tonight. The girls play at Steeleville on Wednesday and they have a home game on Thursday against Gibault.


The boy's basketball team plays Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Okawville Tournament.  Tusday's game is at 6PM against Woodlawn.
