HS Announcements--September 10, 2012

Seniors wishing to submit ideas for the senior class T-Shirts, need to turn them in to Mr. Kinzinger or Mr. Hager by next Friday. Please make sure they are drawn out clearly, and do not include your name on the drawing. Voting will occur during lunch after all of the ideas have been collected.

Mr. Kinzinger and Mrs. Hogg will need to meet this Friday during activity period with all boat race volunteers to hand out arm bands, etc. The meeting will be in the cafeteria.

Tomorrow is Patriot Day. HS students will participate in an assembly first hour with the entire school district. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue that day. Students should report to the JH gym after homeroom.  HS students should sit in the bleachers towards the hallway near the high school gym.

There will be an FCA Meeting, Wednesday, September 12, at 5:30,in the J.H. Gym

Reminder: Drag Boat Race Volunteers need to turn in their permission slips no later than Wednesday. If you haven't already signed up to work, please do so. There will be an informational meeting next week.

Juniors and seniors may go in the gym during lunch period today.

Starting Wednesday, September 12th the Volleyball Teams will be selling Pink Carnations during lunch.  Sells will start this Wednesday and run through next Friday.   The carnations will be $2.00 and will be delivered Friday, September 28th during lunch.


The first progress reporting deadline is this Wednesday.  Peggy will run progress reports on Thursday morning.

The volleyball team plays at Lebanon on Tuesday, the cross country team runs at Sparta, and the golf team competes against Valmeyer.


All students that submitted an application for FCA officers need to meet tomorrow (Tuesday, September 11) for a brief meeting during activity period in Mrs. Dehler's room #101

 First floor will be dismissed early for lunch this week.

Today's lunch menu includes BBQ rib for A lunch and ham and cheese sandwich for B lunch
FROM THE HANDBOOK:  Students must be in attendance a full day to attend, practice, or participate in extra-curricular activities.  Any student who arrives after homeroom, but signs in by 9:05 AM may attend, practice, or participate in an extra-curricular activity by serving an after school detention, or by sitting out 45 minutes of participation under thedirect  supervision of the sponsor.  Any student arriving after 9:05 can not participate, etc. unless they fall under one of 6 exemptions listed in the handbook.
