The Pride Committee will continue to sell Krispy Kreme Doughnuts the first Friday of every month. The next date that Krispy Kreme will be for sell is Friday, October 5th. There is now an opportunity to pre-order a dozen of doughnuts. If you would like to pre-order your dozen, we will sell them for $10.00 and there will be a sign-up sheet outside of Mrs. Patton's door.

Application deadline for yearbook staff is today. Get your application turned in to Mrs. Albert asap
The golf team has a match against Valmeyer today and they compete against Freeburg on monday.

Seniors-Lindenwood College representative will be her on Sept 18th at 3:00. If you would like to meet with him, please sign up in the high school office.


The After Prom committee is looking for volunteers to work the Waterloo Haunted Trail the weekend of October 5-6th. A free meal and soda are provided. Volunteers would need to be at the Sportsman’s Club each night by 5-5:30 to have make up applied and to be in place by 7PM until close at 11PM. Volunteers can by any age, including younger brothers and sisters. Lori Main-Sinn is your contact for this project and she can take a group on Saturday, September 29thfor a walk through. Mr. Kinzinger and Mrs. Hogg will need to meet today during activity period with all boat race volunteers to hand out arm bands, etc. The meeting will be in the cafeteria.


The boy's cross contry team finished 2nd to Chester yesterday.  Leading runners for New Athens were:  Derrick Hoffman 3rd, Staton O'Dell 5th, and Dylan Toedte 7th.  Freshmen Richard Curry, Lucas Doiron, TJ Hollnasworth, and Codi Heggemeier were 21st, 23rd, 24th, and 25th out of 50 total runners.  The team runs at the nashville Invitational on Monday.

The volleyball team will travel to Massac County today to participate in a Saturday tournament. there.



Students will not be allowed in the gym during lunch period today.


A representative from Illinois College will be here Tuesday during NAIL period to meet with students. Sign up if you are interested.

First floor will be dismissed early for lunch this week.

Today's lunch menu includes pepperoni pizza for A lunch and sub sandwich for B lunch
