Although there are no confirmed cases of the "swine flu" in Illinois, the district is trying to be pro-active in preventing any type of contagious infections by stressing hand washing, reporting any flu-like symptoms to the nurse, and encouraging parents to keep sick children at home.  The district is also making hand sanitizer available in each classroom, has installed hand sanitizers in the cafeteria for use before students go through the lunch line, and will have students clean desks with sanitizing wipes once or twice each week. An informational letter is being sent home with all district students.
