Students may not park in reserved parking spaces.  Please check the second floor bulletin board to verify which spaces have been reserved.  Students should pick up their parking passes from the office. Students wanting a reserved space can still purchase one for $10 each semester.
The junior class will be meeting today during home room in Miss Nowakowski's classroom.
The cross country team has their first meet this Saturday at SIUE. The bus will leave at 7:45 AM. The cross country team will host their annual invitational next Tuesday at the Okaw Park.  Students are encouraged to come out and support the runners.  The girl's race is at 4:00PM and the boy's race will follow.  Volunteers are also needed to help at the meet.
The FFA group will be traveling to DuQuoin on Saturday for an activit
A list of seniors who are exempt from first semester exams has been posted on both second floor bulletin boards.  The exemptions are based upon meeting or exceeding standards on the PSAE/ACT test.

Picture day is scheduled for Thurs, Sept 3.  Seniors will get their pictures taken first.  Each senior must have $10 on that day for the composite picture.  There will also be sports pictures taken for golf, cross country and volleyball so please bring your uniforms. Coaches and Assistant coaches should make arrangements to be in the team picture.

If you are interested in joining the yearbook staff (VESPA), applications are available from Mrs. Albert in room 203.  Pick up applications ASAP as the deadline to turn them in will be Friday, Sept 4.

All student council applications must be turned in to Miss Howes today.

The sophomore class officers are: President Zach Bogacki, Vice Pres Micaela Smith, Secretary Erika Meyer, and Treasurer Tyler Pulliam.  Congratulations!

Extra yearbooks are available from Mrs. Albert for $40.
