Homecoming tickets are on sale in the lobby in the morning.  The tickets are $5 a person, $8 a couple.  They will ONLY be on sale until Friday. .  After that, the prices will go up to $7 a person, $10 a couple and they will not be on sale in the morning.  You wil have to find Mrs. Thoma on your own.  The dance is on December 11 from 7:00 to 10:00.  Doors do not open until 6:30 and will close at 7:30.  Coronation will be at 9:30.

Guest permission slips for  the Homecoming Dance need to be returned to Mr. Works by Monday, December 6th.

 

The girl's basketball team has a home game tonight against Gibault.

 

Sophomores:  Beck Field trip forms are due on Friday, this is the last day to turn them in.  See Mrs. Wolter if you need a new permission slip


This Sunday will be poster day.  The cafeteria will be open from 2-5 Sunday afternoon.  EVERYONE is welcome to come and participate in the poster decorating.  Remember that the winner of the poster contest will receive 200 points for their class.

There will be a competition among classes during Homecoming week.  Everything activity that the  students do is worth a number of points.  Students should want to win Homecoming week!

 

 -Dress-up Days:  1 point per student who dresses up that day. Homeroom teachers will take the count and a student council member will come around to collect the tallies.  It will be based on a percentage.

-Winner of Poster:  200 points/ 2nd place-150 points/ 3rd place-100 points/ 4th place-50 points

-Winner of Deck the Walls-200 points/ 2nd place-150 points/ 3rd place-100 points/ 4th place-50 points

-Winner of Tug-of-War:  50 points

-Eating Contest: 50 points

-Minute to Win It Contests:  10 points for the winner

-Singing Bee:  10 points for the winner

 

The FFA will be conducting a food drive beginning today and running through December 10th.  There will be boxes in each homeroom/activity period class.  The room that collects the most non-perishable items will be rewarded with a pizza party during lunch and an early dismissal from activity period on December 14th. 

 

The boy's basketball team plays tonight at 6PM against Valmeyer and at 6PM on Friday against Marissa in the Okawville Tournament.  The team lost to Okawville last night.
