Selected students will be going to SWIC for Career Path Day today at SWIC.

Tomorrow's dress up day is Drugs Make us Someone We're not....
 
Student council members need to meet in Miss Howes's room for buckle up and drive today.
 
Stat of the day:  Heavy marijuana users are more likely than non-users to be diagnosed with schizophrenia late in life.  A recent study found that people who had used marijuana more than 50 times before the age of 18, had a three fold increased risk of developing schizophrenia later in life.
 
The volleyball team plays in the Valmeyer Regional tonight.  The first game is at 6:00 PM against Lovejoy.  If the team wins, they will play Lebanon in the second match of the night.
 
Student council is now selling pizzas and frozen desserts.  Forms are due November 6.

 

All senior student council members need to meet with Miss Howes during homeroom today.

 

Cross country runners are reminded to turn in t-shirt money.  Those runners not running in the post season need to turn in uniforms.

The boy's cross country team and individual qualifier, Molly Works, will be running at the Sectional meet at SIUE on Saturday.  The bus will leave at 7:30 AM.  Any student interested in riding the bus and attending the meet at Edwardsville on Saturday should sign up in the office. 

A fire drill is scheduled for Friday at 9:35 AM.

Afternoon Beck students will not attend Beck on Friday.
