On October 15th The New Athens Lady Jackets along with the Marissa\Coulterville Meteors, will be participating in Volley For The Cure. This is done to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. We will be selling shirts for $10, and some of the money will go to the foundation. The order forms are available in the office. We would also like to be recognize the survivors at half time with a pink carnation. Please contact Ms. Patton with names of survivors attending. We are raising money for this cause and would like to PINK OUT THE SCHOOL.  We would like to encourage everyone to wear pink on this day, and come and watch the volleyball games as all money made will be for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Anyone interested in making a donation can contact the Athletic Department.

The volleyball lost a close match to jValmeyer last night in three games.  The girls have an away match at Columbia tonight and an away match at Lebanon on Tuesday. The JV team continues to be undefeated in the conference after defeating Valmeyer last night.  Their only loss this year has been to Gibault.

The cross country team is scheduled to run in the Pinckneyville Invitational today. Runners and managers would need to be dismissed at 2:00 if the meet is not canceled.
