The cross country team had a great showing at yesterday's Freeburg Invitational as ten runners earned individual awards.  Leading the way was Molly Works with a strong third place finish in the varsity girl's race with a time of 19:38 for the three mile course.  In the boy's varsity race, Zach Bogacki, Ben Mohr, and Zach Bickel all earned medals by placing 20, 22, and 23. In the boy's Open Race, Derrick Hoffman, Adam Ingles, Chance Wacker, and Mahdi AlBori earned medals for placing 3, 4, 9, and 11 while Kayla Doiron won a medal  in the girl's Open Race by placing 14. Other runners made significant,  improvement in their times, specifically, Dylan Harper. A "tough man" award should go to Cameron Reuss who suffered a significant ankle injury shortly after the one mile mark, but refused to quit and completed the race.
The volleyball team plays at Valmeyer tonight and the Varsity squad participates in the Herrin tournament on Saturday.
Student Council will be meeting this morning during homeroom.
