posted Apr 3, 2012, 5:39 AM by Dennis Works   [ updated Apr 3, 2012, 9:43 AM ]

Track runners will not be participating in Thursday's Fresh/Soph meet at Chester.

Since there is no school on Friday, Prom tickets will be sold today during lunch.  Tickets are $15 per person and $25 per couple

This is a reminder to students that according to the handbook, "cell phones must be turned off during the regular school day".  Mr. Works interprets the regular school day as from the time students leave the cafeteria in the morning following breakfast, to the 3:16 dismissal bell. In other words, permission to use cell phones will be allowed only while students are in the cafeteria during, or before breakfast.  Cell phones should not be used outside of the cafeteria. Cell phones are also supposed to be kept in an inconspicuous place such as a back pack, purse, or locker. Students who have their phones sticking out of their pockets will have the phones confiscated until the end  of the day, but will not have a cell phone offense charged against them.

The track team competes at Red Bud today and the bus will leave at 3:10.

The baseball and softball teams will be going to Dupo for games today.

Morning Beck students will be arriving during 4th period.  Afternoon Beck students willnot attend Beck today.
