The girl's basketball team has a home game Thursday against Valmeyer.
The freshmen boys have a home game on Wednesday against Marissa.
Congratulations to the boy's basketball team on winning the Chester Tournament.  Vince Kiefer was named the tournament MVP for the second year in a row and Tyler Womack was selected to the all-tournament team.  The cheerleaders took second place in the cheer competition. The boys are scheduled to play Chester this Friday in the Homecoming Game.

The girl’s basketball team is hosting a pie-in-the-face fundraiser. There will be flyers put up around school explaining the fundraiser:   The top male and top female vote getters will receive a pie in the face at the assembly. There will also be raffle chances  for someone to do the honors that day, $1 per chance or 6 for $5. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.

There will be an FCA meeting tonight at 7:00 PM.

If you ordered a t-shirt and did not pay Miss Howes, she will start selling them first come first serve this afternoon.  Also, there are seven available t-shirts that can be printed before this week is over.  I can place an order for 7 more.  This is only available to the first 7 who talk to Miss Howes.

Welcome to your first week of Homecoming!  Your homeroom teacher should have a tally sheet to count the number of students dressed up in each room.  Each dress up day can be worth up to 40 points depending on the number of students dressed up for each class.  For example, if 100% of your class is dressed up, then you will get 40 points.  If 40% of your class is dressed up, then you would receive 16 points.

The point totals go as follows:

Winner of class poster is 200 points

Winner of the door decorating contest is 200 points, 100 points for 2nd place, and 50 points for third place. The Tug-of-War and Eating contest is each worth 50 points.  The dance contest and relay race is not worth points, it is just for fun!

Tomorrow's dress-up day is 60s, 70s, 80s, Crazy Hair Day, and Tie Dye Day.

Have fun this week and do not forget to buy your dance tickets today.  Tomorrow the price of the tickets will raise!

There will be an Ag. Section 22 meeting from 4-6 PM in the Ag. room.
