Volleyball Players attending the SIUE Team camp this summer need to pay Mrs. Patton $25 by the end of this month.   The dates for the team camp are Thursday, July 29 and Friday, July 30th.

 

Volleyball Pictures will be on Wednesday, April 24th at 3:30 in the H.S. Gym ----DO NOT FORGET YOUR MONEY AND FORMS!!!!!

 

Reminder:  Get your teams signed up for the 2nd Annual Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament.  It's Saturday, April 24th------  Cost is $7.00 a person and the top 3 teams will receive T-shirts this year..       Sign up with Mrs. Patton!

 

 

Motor Vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in 15-20 year olds.

 

As a group, teenagers are more likely to speed, run red lights, make illegal turns, ride with an intoxicated driver and not wear saftey belts.

 

Teens are more likely to be distracted by music, cell phones and talking with other passengers.

 

Congratulations to Vince Kiefer and Tyler Womack for being named All-Conference in boy's basketball.

 

Third floor is dismissed early for lunch this week and next.

 

The track team is scheduled to compete at Dupo on Wednesday. The bus will leave at 2:45 and athletes should be dismissed ten minutes early.

 

The softball team has a doubleheader at Sparta on Thursday.  These games were originally scheduled for Saturday. The bus will leave at 2:45 and athletes should be dismissed ten minutes early.

 

The baseball team has a doubleheader at home this Saturday.  They play Peoria Christian at 10AM and Sparta at 3PM.

 

 

There will be AgBus/Horticulture CDE practice on Thursday after school.

 

After Prom ticket sales will be on the following Thursdays:  March 18th & 25th, and April 8th & 15th.  Dairy Queen mini-blizzard certificates will be given to those students who purchase after-prom tickets on March 18th. Tickets will be $5.  All students 18 and younger will need a signed permission slip to purchase a ticket.
 
Selected FFA students will be attending the Ag. Legislative Day in Springfield today.
