Mrs. Wolter needs to meet with all juniors in the cafeteria Thursday morning during homeroom.

 

    Freshmen,  Sophomores and Juniors-St, Clair County Youth Board is looking for student leaders to represent their school.  If you are interested in this, please contact Ms. Wolter.  The first meeting will be held on September 15th.  Details available in guidance office.

 

    Seniors-A representative from Eastern Illinois University will be here on Tuesday, September 21st during Homeroom at 8:05.  In order to meet with the representative you need be here early.  Please sign up in the guidance office the day before.  Also, Eastern will have an open house on 10-11-10 and 11-11-10.  You can register for either date on their website.

 
 

The volleyball team plays at Lebanon tonight.

 

The cross country team participates in the Sparta Invitational today. Runners should be dismissed at 2:50 and the bus leaves at 3:00.

 

 
The Hall of Fame Banquet is Friday, September 24th.  The banquet is open to anyone, but each guest who plans on eating must notify Peggy and pay $10 at the door for the meal. Doors open at 5:00 and the meal begins at 5:30PM. This year's inductees are former band director, Don Sexton, and Jim Wahlig, a 1977 graduate who excelled in baseball.
 
The high school is collecting Box Tops for Education.  Please start clipping these from your grocery items and bring them to school.  They can be put in the collection envelope on the second floor bulletin board or given to Mrs. Albert
 
FCA members and all interested persons: $15 for the fall kick off banquet is due on Thursday.  Please see Katelynn Warner, Kelsey Birkner, Micaela Smith, Katie Stitzel, or Mrs. Wolter for more information.
 
The after-prom committee is looking for students to work the Haunted Trail at the Waterloo Sportsman's Club on October 8th and 9th.  Students will be dressed up as Zombies for the theme of "Night of the Living Dead". Each student receives a meal and drink ticket and the students will need to be available from 6 PM until 11:30 PM. Volunteers are also needed for set up and tear down.  At least two adult supervisors are also needed.  Interested students may sign up in the high school office.
 
 

Freshmen have the speed pass for lunch this week.

 

The progress reporting period end Friday.  Peggy will be running first quarter progress reports on Monday.

 

Parent conferences are Thursday evening, September 23rd from 3:30 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday, September 24th from 9:00 AM until noon.
