Seniors-The SIUE representative will be here on October 12th at 8:15 a.m. If you would like to meet with her, please sign up in the high school office

If any students would like to register to vote, please see Mr. Works. You must be 18 years old.

The Hall of Fame Banquet is Friday, October 5th in the evening. Mr. Works is looking for student volunteers to help out at the banquet. This is a good opportunity for "volunteer service" for college applications and scholarships. See Mr. Works if you are interested.

Student Council will be meeting Wednesday during activity period.



· Juniors and Seniors-The 51st Annual U.S. Senate Youth Program sponsored by The Wm. Randolph Hearst Foundation is offering this youth programs to students currently serving in an elected or selected office in your school. Student must show leadership ability. If you think you would be interested in this program, check in guidance office for details. Deadline: 10-3-12.
· Seniors-The SWIC representative will be here on October 3rd at 3:00. If you would like to meet with her, please sign up in the office.



· Seniors-Eastern Illinois representative will be here on September 28th at 8:15. If you would like to meet with him, pleasesign up in the high school office.



· Seniors-The SEMO representative will be here on October 1st at 8:15. If you are interested in meeting with her, please sign-up in the high school office.
Students who would like their face painted to support Volley for the Cure may have it done before school and during lunch in the main Lobby of the high school. Each painting will cost $1, and all proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation

 

· Seniors-The MacMurray College representative will be here during NAIL on October 1st. If you wish to meet with him, please sign up in the high school office.




The cross country team runs at the Chester Invitational on Thursday.



· Seniors-Interested in opportunities in the beauty industry-Paul Mitchel is having a career fair& Open House on Saturday, October 6th from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. You must RSVP no later than October 3rd.



The volleyball team defeated Steeleville last night. They play Marissa in the "Volley For the Cure" on Thursday.



Third floor is dismissed early for lunch this week.

Freshmen and juniors may go in the gym during lunch today.

Today's lunch menu includes chicken patty for A lunch and hamburger salad for B lunch.
