The cross country team participates in the Marissa Invitational today at 4PM. Runners should be dismissed at 2:30 and the bus will leave at 2:40. 
 
The vollyeball team lost to Murphysboro Friday in three games, but came back to defeat Lebanon in three games in their final match of the tournament.  The team has a home match against Steeleville tonight with Freshmen, JV, and Varsity games all being played. 
 
There will be a sophomore and junior class meeting in the cafeteria on Wednesday during homeroom to discuss the magazine sales.
 
The Hall of Fame Banquet is Friday, September 24th.  The banquet is open to anyone, but each guest who plans on eating must notify Peggy and pay $10 at the door for the meal. Doors open at 5:00 and the meal begins at 5:30PM. This year's inductees are former band director, Don Sexton, and Jim Wahlig, a 1977 graduate who excelled in baseball.
 
 
The No Pass No Play Policy will start next week.  Grades will be checked this Thursday afternoon.  Any student with two "F's" can not participate in extra-curricular activities the following Monday through Saturday.  Grades will be checked each Thursday afternoon for the remainder of the semester.
 

Students who are working at the Boat Races September 11 and/or 12 - please start handing in your permission slips if you haven't already.  Honor Society members who would like to participate need to make sure they have picked up permission slips.  Lunch will be provided (BBQ hamburgers/hot dogs).  Give Mr. Kinzinger or Mrs. Hogg your T-shirt sizes also.

Sophomores have the speed pass for lunch this week.

High school students will view the Patriot Day activities this Friday during first hour.
