Attention all students and faculty:  The baseball team will be playing at GCS Ballpark, home of the Gateway Grizzlies, on Thursday, April 29th.  The game will start at 7:00pm against Mr. Noffke's Alma mater, Stewardson/Strasburg.  Tickets are $4.00/seat and can be purchased from any baseball player.  We hope to see you there!

 

 

The yearbook staff is asking for those attending prom to take some candid pictures of "getting ready for prom".  These should be brought in next week and given to Mrs. Albert during HR or Activity.

 

Honor Society members need to have their induction ceremony attendance numbers in to Ms. Boyles by tomorrow, Friday, April 16.  We will be meeting shortly to practice for the ceremony.

 
 
Congratulations to Seth Causey on being awarded a $1000 Okaw Scholarship.

 

 

If you qualified for the third quarter honor roll, you are eligible for two tickets to a Grizzlies baseball game in June. See Mr. Works for ticket information.
 
Selected students from Mr. Doehring's computer classes will be competing at SWIC on Friday.
 
Congratulations to the Ag. Mech. team for placing 5th at the District 5 CDE last night.  Phil Riebling placed 3rd individually in welding and ZachRiebling placed 3rd individually in electrical wiring.
 
 
Selected FFA members will have dairy judging at SIUC (all day) on Friday.
 
Morning and afternoon Beck students will not attend those classes on Friday.
 
Prom is this Saturday in the Hecker.  

 

The track team has a meet at Columbia on Thursday.

 

The baseball and softball teams have home games against Lebanon on Thursday. 
 
Congratulations to the softball team on their victory last night over Valmeyer.
 

"Senior Class Trip permission slips need to be turned into Mr. Bambrough in Room 305 by end of school on Friday the 16th of April"

 

Mrs. Wolter would like to meet with the following seniors during homeroom tomorrow (Thursday) in room 202:  Kesley Litteken, Dylanya Little, Derek Pruett, Austin Range, & Cameron Reuss

 
 
A "lock down" drill will be conducted today at approximately 9:45 AM

 

Ed Cockrell will be here during lunch period todayto register students to vote.

 

If you have not purchased Prom tickets they are available to buy from Ms. Nowakowski in room 306.  Prices are now $10 for an individual or $17 for a couple.  NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER TODAY!!!!

If any senior has not ordered their cap and gown , they need to tell Peggy. Thank you
