The next performing arts field trip meeting will be Thursday, April 8th in the HS Library at 7PM. 
 
First floor is dismissed early for lunch this week.
 
The softball games scheduled for today against Evansville Lutheran, and Saturday against East St. Louis have been canceled. 
 
The track team has been performing very well recently.  Molly works has broken her school records in the 800, 1600, and 3200 meter runs.  The 3200 meter relay team of Cameron Reuss, Zach Bogacki, Ben Mohr, and Adam Ingles recently set a school record.  Cameron is also closing in on the school record in the 100 meters and his own 400 meter record. Zach Bogacki won both the 3200 meter and 1600 meter runs at last night's meet. Micaela Smith has been consistently placing in the top two or three in the high jump while Kyla Miller continues to excel in the shot put.  Zoey Hill and Abby Wolf are are doing well in the sprints and in the middle distance relays.

Steve is asking that coaches refrain from using the rear exit of the busses except for emergency purposes.
 
Selected band members will participate in a festival at SWIC today.  Selected chorus members will compete in a festival at SWIC tomorrow.
 
The District 5 FFA public speaking contest is today at SIUC.  Participants will leave at 3PM.
 
 
The JV baseball team is scheduled to play at Red Bud today.
 
Mrs. Quast's Spanish students will be taking a field trip on Friday. 
 
Spring sports pictures are scheduled for Thursday.
 
Jostens will be delivering senior graduation items before school tomorrow.
 
The varsity track team will be competing at Breese Central tomorrow while the fresh/soph team is scheduled to participate in the Chester F/S Invitational.
 
The baseball and softball teams have home games against Steeleville tomorrow.
 

Prom tickets will be on sale at lunch today, Thursday, Friday and Monday.  The cost is $8 and person or $14 a couple.  After Monday, prices will go up.

Tickets for the After-Prom breakfast fundraiser at Applebee's this Saturday are still available in the office.  The cost is $8.
