High school yearbooks are on sale.  The books cost $40 each and you can get your book personalized with name imprinting ($5 additional) and up to four icons ($5 each).   The yearbook staff will be taking orders during lunch. The order deadline is May 15.

The baseball team plays at Trico today while the softball team will play at Freeburg. Baseball players should be dismissed at 2:45.  The softball game is a change from the original schedule which showed a game at Sparta.

The baseball and softball teams are scheduled to play at Marissa on Thursday.

Third floor is dismissed early for lunch this week and next.

The freshman/sophomore girl's track team continues to perform well.  At yesterday's Chester Invitational, Micaela Smith jumped 4'10" in the high jump breaking her own school record and finishing 2nd. She also placed 4th in the long jump .  Molly Works broke her own school records in the 3200M (13:27) and 1600M (6:05) finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.  Katie Stitzel was 5th in the triple jump, Kayla Doiron was 5th in the 3200M , Miranda Crider was 5th in the 200M, and the 1600M relay team of Smith, Doiron, Works, and Crider finished 5th. 

The girl's track team will participate in the Conference meet at Red Bud on Thursday.

The boys 4X100M realy team  broke the school record a while back at 50.8 seconds.  The team includes Cameron Reuss, Joe Wolf, Ryan White, and Ethan Tadlock.

The athletic banquet is scheduled for May 13th. Athletes need to RSVP with the informational letter to Mr. "W".

All volleyball players -- If you are working the elementary school camp you need to pay Mrs. Patton $30.00 by Friday, May 22. If you are NOT working the elementary school camp, you need to pay $60.00 to Mrs. Patton by Friday, May 22.
 
Seniors need to turn in  t-shirt money to Mrs. Patton by this Friday.

All library materials need to be turned in by this Friday.  Mr. Treece needs to get the library ready for construction work as soon as school is out.

There will be an informational  cross country meeting this morning in room 202 for all students interested in possibly participating next fall .  All students who participated in cross country this past fall should attend the meeting, even if they do not plan on running next season or if they are a graduating senior.

All sophomore dessert orders will be here 7th hour on Friday.  Make arrangements to get those frozen items home or delivered immediately after school on Friday.  Sophomores who have orders to pick up should meet in the cafeteria in activity period on Friday.
 
Student Council will meet Thursday morning to make plans for the honors banquet. 

An awards banquet will be held Monday, May 18 to recognize students who participated in non-sport extra-curricular activities, or who earned an award this year that is not given at graduation.  Students need to return their RSVP to the office.

Senior Superlative pictures will be taken Thursday and Friday during homeroom and activity period.  Seniors should be prepared with props and ideas of how the picture should be taken.  Talk to Molly Meehan or Kelsey Birkner if you have any questions.

Seniors are reminded to submit pictures for the graduation slide show to Kelley Ruhmann.
