 New Athens will host the Regional Cross Country Meet this Saturday at Okaw Park with the girl's race at 10:30 AM and the boy's race at 11:30 AM.
The following seniors need to turn in a permission slip and/or a picture consent form to Mrs. Dinkelman by Tuesday, October 25 for Career Path Day at SWIC.
They are Zach Bickel, Kayla Doiron, Tyler Gabelman, Adam Ingles, Neil Laumbattus, Sam Laumbattus, Zach Riebeling, AJ Schreder, Micaela Smith, Courtney Steiger, and Chance Wacker.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in last Monday’s Math Team Competition at SWIC.  Special congratulations to individual grade level winners:  Freshman Lucas Harper 2nd, Sophomore Mallory Warnecke 6th and Senior Micaela Smith 5th.  Also congratulations to the Team of Micaela Smith, Renee Kinzinger, Mallory Warnecke, and Lucas Harper who placed 2nd in the team competition.
Seniors please sign up for decorations and snacks for the Halloween Dance by Mrs. Patton's office.  Also---please select a senior T-Shirt by Thursday of this week-------- The choices are by Mrs. Patton's door
Seniors will be meeting in the cafeteria during homeroom on Thursday.
A representative from the Army will be here during lunch on Friday.
Picture re-takes will be next Tuesday. Class officer pictures will also be taken this same day.


Hoodies and tshirts are on sale through student council. The first order will be placed this Friday. SEE STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS TO PLACE AN ORDER. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY UNTIL THE ORDER COMES IN

Student Council will be meeting this Friday during homeroom

The senior class is planning a Halloween masquerade dance for Friday evening, Oct 28 from 7:30 - 10 pm.  The cost will be $8 per person or $5 per person if you are in costume.  Costumes must be school appropriate.  If you want to bring a guest, please complete a permission form that is on the office counter by Friday, October 21
Selected students will be attending the National FFA Convention beginning today.
1st floor is dismissed early for lunch this week.
There will be a fire drill next Monday at approximately 10:10 AM
Today's lunch menu includes chicken strips for A lunch and popcorn chicken salad for B lunch
Students who have accumulated over $10 on their meal accounts will not be allowed to make any other "charges" to their account, and must have cash in order to purchase food.
