Seniors-Mrs. Wolter has information about an ACT prep class through SWIC.  The cost is around $160 and starts next weekend.  Please pick up information in the counselor's office

Junior & Seniors-interested in taking dual enrollment classes at SWIC during NAIL please see Ms. Wolter to sign-up

Juniors have the speed pass for lunch this week.

If you won a flying dog from the Fine Arts Fundraiser, please come to the band room today during homeroom for the $25 gift card contest!

Seniors:  1st scholarship meeting of the year with Mrs. Wolter will be today during homreoom Please meet in room 202

Student Council will meet next Wednesday during homeroom.

Congratulations to Shelby Strackeljahn on making the all-tournament volleyball team at Herrin.

 Seniors-SWIC is offering several recreational courses such as photography, golf clinic, fishing and hunter safety certification.  If you think you would be interested in such classes please check in the guidance office

Zach Bickel finished 3rd and Zach Bogacki finished 4th in yesterday's triangular CC meet a Chester.  Luis Cantos finished 3rd for the team with a strong performance, and Tyler Paxton ran his best race of the season to finish as the 4th runner for New Athens.  Molly Works placed 1st overall in the girl's race and Brandi Garrett completed the three mile course in under 25 minutes to finish as New Athens' #2 female runner. The cross country team competes in the Chester Invitational tomorrow.
 

Mrs. Patterson needs students to check their closets for a blue junior high band polo.  The junior high band has a festival this Friday and Mrs. Patterson is  still missing at least 20 polos.  Please return them asap!*

School will be dismissed at 12:11 PM on Friday for School Improvement Activities.

 

The volleyball team defeated Steeleville last night in three games.  The girls play at Marissa tomorrow in the Volley For the Cure game.
 

Foreign Language Club will be celebrating Oktoberfest and German Heritage tonight from 4:00 to 5:30 in the Library.

Jostens will be here between 3:05 and 5:30 today in the lobby to accept orders for class rings.
