The H.S. volleyball team along, with our 8th grade volleyball girls, are selling Volley For The Cure T-Shirts.  Proceeds made from these shirts will be donated to the Susan G Komen Foundation.   The deadline to order the shirts is TODAY.  Please help our community come together and fight the battle against Cancer. 

Mr. Kinzinger and Mrs. Hogg need to meet on Thursday during homeroom with all students working the boat races this weekend.

The high school will be participating in Friday's 9-11 memorial Cermeony to be held in the junior high gym.  Students will be dismissed after homeroom to report to the gym.  Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and/or blue on Friday.

Students are reminded that they are not to be at their lockers until the 8:05 bell rings.  Students may come to the offie prior to that time to take care of official business.


The following students have paid for reserved parking in the student parking lot. Students should not park in thesese spaces during the school day.

Alicia Dudenbostle  38, Neil laumbattus 1, John Deutsch 2, Alecia Kerperien 24, Renee Kinzinger 32, Ellie Besserman 44, and Micaela Smith 31.


The girl's cross country team claimed their second championship this season by winning the Marissa Invitational yesterday. Four girls earned medals by finishing in the top ten including Molly Works--1st, Olivia Hoffman--2nd, Bailey Dudeck--6th, and Courtnie Niederbrach--7th.  Lexy Huffman, Denae White, and Courtney Steiger ran close together in 20, 21, and 24. The boy's team ran a strong race to finish 2nd, just seven points behind Pinckneyville. Zach Bogacki and Zach Bickel earned individual medals for finish 5th and 6th.  Staton O'Dell just missed a medal with a strong 11th place finish.  Jonathan Robinson and Derrick Hoffman rounded out the top five in 16th and 18th places.  The team races against Freeburg and Okawville today at Okaw Park at 4:15.  Freeburg has the defending State Champion in Kristin Bush and her twin sister Caitlin was third in last year's state meet. Come out and support the team today as they battle the Midgets and the Rockets.
First floor is dismissed early for lunch this week.
Today's menu includes burrito for A line and salad bar for B line.
Students who have been assigned a detention need to make arrangements with Mr. Works to serve those this week.
