Homecoming tickets are $7 a person or $10 a couple.  You wil have to purchase tickets from Mrs. Thoma.  The dance is this Saturday from 7:00 to 10:00.  Doors open at 6:30 and will close at 7:30.  Coronation will be at 9:30.

Guest permission slips for  the Homecoming Dance need to be returned to Mr. Works ASAP.

The girls basketball team plays at Trico today (Tuesday).

The FCA Christmas party is this Thursday, the 9th at 6:30 in the cafeteria. There will be pizza, games, and fun. Please RSVP to Katelynn Warner, Kelsey Birkner, or Chris Harwerth by the end of the day Wednesday. We hope to see you there :)

·         Freshmen-Young Achievers Gateway East is offering a program to students based on their achievements, leadership and service, if you would be interested in this program and would like to be nominated, please see Ms. Wolter for details.  Deadline: 12-10-10.

·         Seniors-Anyone planning on attending Southeast Missouri State College-The Jack Buck Scholar-Leadership Award is being offered.  For information please check in the guidance office.  Deadline: 12-15-10

First floor will be dismissed early for lunch this week.

The Senior Citizen Luncheon will be this Wednesday. Selected chorus and FFA members will be performing or assisting in the luncheon.

Today's Homecoming dress up activities are "Twin Day or Arabian Nights".  Wednesday's dress up activities are "Gender Bender and 80's"  Please keep all dress up activites school appropriate and remember to act responsibly when dressing as a different gender.

The junior class will be sponsoring a chili supper before, and during Friday's home basketball games.  The supper will be served in a designated area of the cafeteria so as not to conflict with the Homecoming decorations.

 The FFA will be conducting a food drive beginning today and running through December 10th.  There will be boxes in each homeroom/activity period class.  The room that collects the most non-perishable items will be rewarded with a pizza party during lunch and an early dismissal from activity period on December 14th. 

The boy's basketball team defeated Marissa Friday night in the Okawville Tournament.  The team has a home game on Tuesday against Okawville.


Selected sophomores will be touring the Beck Center Friday during the first three periods of the day
