Derrick Hoffman finished 16th and Olivia Hoffman finished 10th to earn individual awards at yesterday's Nashville Invitational CC meet.  Richard Curry ran a strong race to finish as the #4 runner, while Deandre Crockarell ran one of his best races to finsih as the #7 runner for New Athens.  Bailey Dudeck, Courtnie Niederbrach, and Lexi Cahoon finished 2, 3, and 4 for the girls.

Mr. Kreher and Mr. Treece  are holding auditions for the part of Mr. or Mrs.

Henry Tuesday after school at 3:30pm


There will be an FCA officer’s meeting during homeroom this morning.


·        Seniors-The SWIC representative will be here on October 3rd at 3:00.  If you would like to meet with her, please sign up in the office.


·        Seniors-Eastern Illinois representative will be here on September 28th at 8:15.  If you would like to meet with him, pleasesign up in the high school office.


·        Seniors-The SEMO representative will be here on October 1st at 8:15.  If you are interested in meeting with her, please sign-up in the high school office.


·        Seniors-TheMacMurray College representative will be here during NAIL on October 1st.  If you wish to meet with him, please sign up in the high school office.


Some students till need to turn in their PE waivers.



Congratulations to the all the math team members who participated in the math contest at SWIC last night.  Special congratulations to sophomores Jacob Hundelt who placed 6th and Lucas Harper who placed 5th, junior Mark Behiter who placed 5th.  And congratulations to the team of Kellsie Ruhmann, Mark Behiter and Lucas Harper who placed 3rd.  Great Job everyone
Congratulations to the girl's volleyball team on finishing 2nd in the Massac County Tournament. The following girls earned all-tournament recognition: Olivia Hoffman, Anisa Al Bori, and Aleen Dutkanych.

Congratulations to the following people who were elected FCA leaders: President, Courtnie Niederbrach , Vice-President, Mallory Warnecke, Secretary, Kaycee Warner

Machetes and Bull Pen will be delivering food for Volley For The Cure Week. On Monday, September 24th Machetes will be delivering food and Wednesday, September 26th Bull Pen will be delivering food. The first 25 students to sign-up and pre-order will have their orders delivered to the school on those days. Orders will be made during homeroom next week in the lobby, it's first come first serve.

The following students need to meet in Room 301 with Mrs. Hogg today (Tuesday) during NAIL:  Ellie Besserman, Lydia Collins, Kylie Walker, Mallory Warnecke, Lucas Marlow, Katy Gill, Mike Niederbrach, Justine Asher, Roger Blake, and Cody Rettinghouse

Seniors-Lindenwood College representative will be here today at 3:00.

The golf team is scheduled to compete at Carlyle today.

Student Council will be meeting Wednesday morning during homeroom.


A representative form Illinois College will be here during NAIL period today.

The volleyball team plays at Dupo tonight.

Second floor is dismissed eary for lunch this week.
Freshmen and sophomores may go in the gym during lunch period today.
Today's lunch menu includes hamburger on bun for A lunch and corn dogs for B lunch.
