There are several students who need to take PARCC make-up tests. I will call them down to the office throughout the day to take them.

Good luck to the high school baseball and softball team as they travel to Nashville this afternoon for a 4:30 game. The players need to be dismissed at 2:30.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of "Who Poisoned His Meatball?" on a great performance and a successful weekend of shows.

All cast members of the play need to meet in Mr. G's room during NAIL today To start taking the set down.

Any student who is in possession of an elevator key needs to return it to the office at this time.

 

The deadline for turning in guest request slips for students who do not attend New Athens for Prom is Wednesday, April 1. Please make sure your requests are turned in to the office by then or your guest will not be permitted to attend.

There are after prom forms available in the office and the after prom committee will be here every Tuesday to pick up signed permission slips.


If you are looking for a tuxedo for Prom, Tuxedo2Go in Freeburg will donate 15%  of their profits to our After Prom committee. You can also return your tux during After Prom. Flyers are available in the office.

$500 Charles M. Lynch II Because We Can Scholarship. Requirements: must be a senior, considering a profession in the medical field, have volunteer experience  Pick up form from high school office. Due back in office April 15th 


Seniors, please remember to have your senior photos digitally submitted to Mr. Kreher no later than April 24th.


VESPA began selling 2015 yearbooks last week.  The introductory price is $45.00, but starting in April the price will increase to $50.00.  Please be sure to plan accordingly and purchase your yearbook at the discounted rate.

The preferred method of payment is by check, but cash is also acceptable.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kreher.

·         Seniors-The Alpha Delta Kappa Illinois Scholarship is being offered to a senior entering college for the purpose of becoming a teacher.  Student must have a 3.0 or better GPA.  Additional information on this scholarship is available in the high school office.  Deadline: 3-30-15.

·         Seniors- The Dr. Willard C. Scrivner Public Health Foundation Scholarship Program is offering scholarships planning to pursue a health-related field of study.  This is a St. Clair County Program.  Applications are available in the high school office.  Deadline: 3-31-15.

·         Seniors-Mathis, Marifian & Richter, LTD is offering three $1,000.00 scholarships to students pursuing a career as an attorney.  This is a local scholarship for anyone eligible for this.  Information is available in the High School office.  Deadline: 4-1-15.

·         Juniors & Seniors-SEMO representative will be here on 4-1-15 at 3:05 in room 102.  Please sign up in the High School Office if you would like to meet with SEMO.

·         Seniors-The Freeburg Masonic Lodge 418 Scholarship is being offered.  Students must have a “C” or above average.  A student from our school will receive this $750.00 scholarship.  If you are interested, please check in the high school office.  Deadline: 4-1-15.
