Congratulations to Nate Curry on his win this weekend at the 2016 Art on the Square competition.  He won the Gateway East Artist's Guild Award.  With this award, he earned a $50.00 monetary prize and a one year junior membership to the Gateway East Artist's Guild.

In addition to Nate's success, the following students received high marks from the judging artists:  Andrea Rachels, Georgia Park, Amanda Bergmann, Tyler Lanter, Bre Allard, Alyssa Range and Bailey Lance.  Will the students just named please go to the art room at this time to meet with Mr. Kreher?

Seniors who will be taking finals: you should report to room 102 at 8:30 on Wednesday morning to take your final exams.

The boys track team will be leaving at 2:15 on Monday for their track meet at Nashville.

Mr. Works will have a meeting next Wednesday during homeroom for any student interested in participating in cross country next fall. The meeting is open to anyone who has never participated and who may want more information as well as previous runners.  Please sign up in the office so Mr. works knows how many informational packets to make.  This meeting does not obligate anyone to join cross country.

Anyone interested in working the Grand American at the World Shooting and Recreation Complex this summer needs to see Mr. Hager for an application.
 
 
  Library fines are being sent out and that Seniors need to have theirs paid before they graduate.


Juniors-The Better Business Bureau Student of Ethnics Award Program is offering a $2500. scholarship to a Junior student showing leadership, community service and overall personal integrity and an academic history.  Information on this scholarship is available in the office.                Deadline: 5-30-16.


After School Workouts start Monday, April 4th after school.  These workouts are designed for any student that wants to build strength and endurance.  These workouts will meet from 3:30 p.m. -4:00 p.m. and will be run by Mrs. Dehler, Mrs. Nurnberger, and Mrs. Patton.  The workouts are offered to 8th graders and all High School Students.
