This week is Red Ribbon Week. Today we are dressing in Red, White and Blue to make America great again. Today's drug fact is: Although taking drugs at any age can lead to addiction, research shows that the earlier a person begins to use drugs, the more likely they are to progress to more serious use.

Tomorrow's theme is Team Up Against Drugs; wear your favorite sports team's jersey to school.

Congratulations to the girl's CC team on placing 4th at the Freeburg Regional behind Freeburg, Mater Dei, and Althoff.  The girls will run at the SIUE Sectional on Saturday. All 5 girls ran personal records led by Alyana Toedte's 11th place finish and Jenna Alfeldt's 17th place.  Danika White was 24th and Emma File, running one of her best races, was 27th.  Stevi Price ran a solid race to finish 33rd.

The boy's team also qualified for the Sectional Meet, capturing the 7th and final qualifying spot.  Despite having their top runner competing injured, the boys had a great "pack" time of 19 seconds between their #1 and #5 runner. Noel Ivester led the boys, but freshman Chandler Hoffman, running his best race of the season, was only 4 seconds behind.  The top 5 boys all ran under 19 minutes.

FCA members attending the field trip on Wed, all money is due to Mrs. Dehler TODAY!  Thanks.
