Congratulations to the Lady Jacket volleyball team on their 2nd place finish over the weekend in the Herrin Tournament. Abby Marlow was named tournament MVP.

Good luck to the Lady Jackets in their home game tonight against Gibault. The Freshmen match will start at 5:30. 

Nearly all runners ran PR's (personal records) at Saturday's Freeburg CC Invitational. The girls were missing several top runners but competed well.  Alayna Toedte received a medal for finishing 22nd out of 101 runners in the varsity race while Madelyn Fromme earned a medal in the Open race for finishing 15th.  The boys placed 7th out of 14 teams with Ethan Cockrell earning a medal for finishing 17th out of 134 runners in the varsity race.  Jon Alfeldt, Lucas Doiron, and Theo Dudeck also ran extremely well.  The teams participate at Chester on Thursday, and at Brighton in the Southwest Invitational on Saturday.

All cheerleaders come by Mrs. Dehler's room during activity period today for a quick picture.

Pep Club would like to remind everyone that tonight is crazy purple and gold night at the New Athens vs Gibault game! Come and Show your Jacket spirit.
Tuesday's game against Steeleville will be black out. Please check the bulletin board for all upcoming game night themes!

FCA members: the sign up sheet for the Volley For The Cure soup and chili supper is outside coach Patton's office door. Our goal is 20 crockpots- please sign up to help out. 
Also, this year's FCA shirts are in! If you signed up for one, stop by Mrs. Dehler's room to pick it up. Cost is $7.

Volley For the Cure hair bows are for sale all next week. They are $5. Grab yours before the big game on Thursday! They are first come, first served. See Mrs. Dehler for details.

Juniors who are interested in taking the PSAT need to sign up in the office. The deadline to sign up is today. The test costs $15.

 High School Students will be able to place their orders for Volley For The Cure Week:  There will be a table located in the High School Lobby starting on Monday during Homeroom.  The restaurants that are participating in the Volley For The Cure are the following:
Monday, September 28th - Steamboat Delivery
Wednesday, September 30th - Bull Pen Delivery
Friday, October 2nd- Village Pizza

Please keep in mind that 10% of all food sales that day will go to Susan G. Komen and other local organizations to help fight breast cancer.

Jodi Griffin will be selling Pink Carnations for Volley For The Cure during Homeroom for the next three weeks. The following is the schedule:

Tuesdays and Thursdays - Junior HIgh Homeroom

Monday/Wednesday/Fridays- High School Homeroom

Carnations will be sold for $2.00 and will be delivered during Lunch on Thursday, October 1st.

Students: if you need to leave school early for any reason, you are responsible for charging your chromebooks in their cart. Do NOT leave them in your lockers overnight.
