Practice for baseball and softball begins Monday, February 26.  For anyone wanting to play, you must have an up-to-date physical and pay the $25 sports fee before practice begins.

Track practice will begin Monday, February 26.  Participants should meet in room 102 after school and be prepared to practice outside.  Physicals are required to participate.  Mr. Works is also looking for a few managers to assist at meets.

Remember to turn in your Spring pictures and/or money to Mrs. Albert by Friday,
Feb 23.

Yearbooks are on sale until March 16.

-There is a MANDATORY meeting tonight after school for all of the Washington D.C. trip students. 

-The Jr. Class will meet tomorrow during homeroom in Mr. Gallaher's room

Congrats to the Varsity Scholar Bowl team on their wins last night against Carlyle and Salem!

The play crew needs to meet after school today and tomorrow to build the set.

Students interested in participating in the Marlin Albert Outdoor Heritage Writing Contest to be eligible for a $200 cash prize can see the office, Mrs. Hogg, or Mrs. Thoma to pick up a flier.

§  Seniors-The American Society of Military Comptrollers Land of Lincoln Chapter is offering scholarships.  Information is available in the office. Deadline: 2-20-18.

§  Seniors-Planning to enroll in an agriculture-based college curriculum-Farm Credit Illinois is offering scholarships.  If interested, please check in the High School Office.  Deadline: 2-28-18.

§  Seniors-Elks Belleville Lodge No. 481 is offering a scholarship to seniors entering Physical and Occupational Therapy Majors and Assistant Program.  Information is available in the high school office, if you are interested.  Applications can be submitted to the Belleville Elks Lodge after6:00 pm on February 21st and March 7th, 2018.

§  Seniors- St. Clair County Young Farmers Shane Toenjes Scholarship is being offered to a high school senior who are members of the St. Clair County Farm Bureau and pursuing an agriculture degree at SIU-Carbondale or University of Illinois.  Information is in the office. Deadline: 3-6-18.

§  Seniors-Illinois Elks Association is offering a scholarship for students majoring in Physical and Occupational Therapy.  Applications are available online.  Deadline: 3-9-18.

§  Seniors- Metro Area Professional Organization is offering scholarships with a GPA of 2.5 or better.  Information on this scholarship is available in the office.  Deadline: 3-10-18.

§  Seniors-Illinois Society of Professional Engineers is offering a scholarship to seniors who plan to study engineering.  Information available in the office.  Deadline: 3-30-18.

§  Seniors-St. Clair County Retired Teachers Association is offering a $1,000.00 scholarship to a high school senior entering college for the purpose of becoming a teacher.  Information is available in the high school office.  Deadline: 3-31-18.

§  Seniors-Heneghan & Associates Scholarship is being offered to students entering the engineering or surveying field of study.  Information and applications available in the office.  Deadline: 3-31-18.
