Thank you to all students that donated blood yesterday.  A total of 53 units of blood were collected, which saved 159 lives.  Also, thank you for your patience in waiting in the long lines.  Your support of the blood drive at school ensures its continued success.

Track participants need to have their apparel orders turned in to Mr. Works or Stevi Price by Friday .  Mr. Works is still accepting prospective track participants through Wednesday. He will be subbing for Mr. Kinzinger on Wednesday if you have any questions about track.

Mr. Works is looking for a couple of track managers to help at meets.  Managers do not have to attend practices, they only need to attend the meets. Please let Peggy know if you are interested.

Spring workouts will start Monday, March 6th and will be on Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. These workouts are FREE and are available fir any student that's interested in enhancing strength, endurance, speed, or wanting to get in shape.

There will be a meeting for all volleyball players during Homeroom on Friday. (In the High School Gym.)

 The Co-Ed. Volleyball Tournament will be this Saturday and the first game will start at 9:00 a.m.
There will be a concession stand with Chick-Fil-A and the top three teams in each division will be awarded medals. 


The National Honor Society will meet on February 28, March 6 and March 7 during NAIL. The meetings will be for both current and new members.

Spring Musical Cast & Crew:
The photo session that was scheduled for Thursday, March 2, is postponed until further notice.  
There will be normal practice from 7-9PM that night.

Mr. G is looking for former scholar bowl members to help out at the Junior High scholar bowl tournament on Saturday, March 4th. Please see him if you are interested.

Today is a detention day. If you have an after school detention, it will be held in Mrs. Albert's room after school. If you are not sure if you have a detention, please see the office.


There will be an FCA meeting Friday morning at 7:30 in the high school gym.

    Seniors-The Society of American Military Engineers is offering scholarships to students entering the engineering program.  Information on this is available in the office.  Deadline: 3-10-17.

·       Seniors-The St. Clair County Retired Teachers Association Education Scholarship is being offered to seniors entering college for the purpose of becoming a teacher.  Applications and information is available in the High School Office.               Deadline: 3-31-17.

·       Seniors-The Dr. Willard Scrivner Public Health Foundation Scholarship is being offered to seniors who have chosen to pursue a health-related field of study.  Information on this scholarship is available in the office.  Deadline: 3-31-17.

·       Seniors-The Great Clips Scholarship Program is offering scholarships to students pursuing a cosmetology career.  Information is available in the office.  Deadline: 3-31-17.

·       Seniors-The Illinois Society of Professional Engineers St. Clair Chapter is offering scholarships to seniors who plan to study engineering.  Information and applications are available in the office.   Deadline: 4-7-17.

·       Seniors-The Mathis, Marifian & Richter Ltd. Scholarship is being offered to seniors interested in pursuing a career as an attorney.  Information on this scholarship is available in the office.  Deadline:4-10-17.

·       Seniors-The Charles M. Lynch II Because We Can Scholarship is being offered to students entering the medical field of study.  Applications are available in the office.  Deadline: 4-15-17.

·       Seniors-BJC Scholars Fund is offering scholarships to students with a financial need.  Information is in the office.  Deadline: 4-15-17.

·       Seniors-The Monroe Illinois Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship is being offered to members of the electric cooperative.  Information on this scholarship is available in the High School office.  Deadline: 4-30-17.

·       Seniors-Alpha Delta Kappa Illinois Scholarship Iota Chapter is being offered to students pursuing a teaching degree.  Information is available in the office.  Deadline:  5-1-17.


    ·       Seniors-Farm Credit Agriculture Scholarships are available to students who plan to enroll in an agricultural-based college curriculum.  Information is available in the high school office.  Deadline: 2-27-17.

·       Seniors-The Illinois Odd Fellow-Rebekah Scholarship Award is being offered.  This is a financial need scholarship.  Information on this scholarship is available in the high school office.         Deadline: 2-28-17.

·       Seniors-The National Defense Transportation Association Scott/St. Louis Chapter is offering scholarships to promote careers in business, transportation logistics, and physical distribution.  Information is available in the High School Office.               Deadline: 3-1-17.

  ·       Seniors-The Monroe Illinois Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship is being offered to members of the electric cooperative.  Information on this scholarship is available in the High School office.  Deadline: 4-30-17.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program

Abbott & Fenner Business Consultants
