Don't forget to sign up for the Zombie Fun Run on October 25th. The flyers are in the office.

Volunteers are needed for the Waterloo Sportsman's Club Haunted Trail. We need at least 10 volunteers for each
night including 2 adult chaperones, on the 17th, 18th and 24th of October.
Parents are encouraged to participate too, by either transporting and/or
working the trail. Details are on the sign up sheet and flyers located in the
office. As of now the weather looks like it will be perfect for this weekend.
It is really a fun time! It includes 4 drinks, a meal voucher and you will be
helping earn $250 per night($750 total) for the 2015 After Prom.

The girl's cross country team placed 2nd out of 6 teams at the Red Bud Invitational on Tuesday.  Alayna Toedte earned an individual medal placing 8th with the remaining top five girls being:  Laura Kreher 14th, Alina Lance 15th, Jenna Alfeldt 19th, and Emma File 23rd.There were 51 total runners.  The boy's team placed 3rd out of nine teams with Ethan Cockrell earning a medal for placing 11th and Jon Alfeldt earning a medal for placing 12th. The next three runners were Tyler Kimes 17th, Dylan Toedte 23rd, and Lucas Doiron 30th.  There were 89 total boys.  The teams participate in the Cahokia Conference meet on Saturday at New Athens Okaw Park.  The girls run at 10AM and the boys run at 10:45AM.

Cross Country runners should jog to Okaw Park today immediately after school for practice.

Congratulations to the FFA Greenhand Quizbowl team for receiving 5th place at the quizbowl contest last night.  The team consisted of Jackie Dutkanych, Courtney Ragland, Ethan Fleming, and Jake Siebecker.

Also congratulations to Kirsten Hollansworth for receiving 1st place and Cole Dickerson for receiving 5th place at the Varsity Job Interview contest.  Congratulations also to Cassidy Dickerson for 5th place and Andrew Smith for 7th place in the JV Job Interview contest.  Kirsten and Cassidy will advance to the district contest at Carbondale in December.
