Congratulations to the volleyball team on their victory over Lebanon last night. They play this afternoon at 4:30 and again around 7 at home in the Labor Day Volleyball Tournament.

Congratulations to Laura Kreher, Alayna Toedte, and Jenna Alfeldt on earning individual medals at yesterday's Columbia Cross Country relays.  Their relay team placed 8th overall in this competitive meet that included schools such as Granite City, Waterloo, and Freeburg. This is first girl's team to medal in this meet since Mr. Works has been coaching.

Due to the excessive heat, cross country has been canceled today (Thursday).  Runners may choose to run on their own later in the evening when temperatures cool off.

Any student interested in participating in this year's Voice of Democracy Speech Competition should see Mrs. Hogg for details.  Recording will occur in early October.  This year's theme is "Why Veterans are Important to our Nation's History and Future."

Please sign up today in the lobby for activities for Enrichment on Friday. Your choices are kickball, bean bags, or washers.
