All cast and crew for the spring play need to report to Mrs. Dehler's room today during NAIL.

There are after prom forms available in the office and the after prom committee will be here every Tuesday to pick up signed permission slips.

If you are looking for a tuxedo for Prom, Tuxedo2Go in Freeburg will donate 15%  of their profits to our After Prom committee. You can also return your tux during After Prom. Flyers are available in the office.

$500 Charles M. Lynch II Because We Can Scholarship. Requirements: must be a senior, considering a profession in the medical field, have volunteer experience  Pick up form from high school office. Due back in office April 15th 

There were several excellent performances by the girl's track team at the Charleston Indoor Meet on Saturday.  Leading the way was Dierrah Reese who broke the school record in the shot put with a throw of 32' 3 1/2 " which placed her 10th out of 41 in this highly competitive meet.  Alayna Toedte ran the 1600 in 6:11 which places her 3rd on the all time New Athens record list.  She finished 14th out of 44 runners.  The 4X800 relay team of Cassie Crabtree, Alayna Toedte, Lindsey Crabtree, and Alayna Toedte placed 20th out of 26 with an excellent performance.

The track team has their first outdoor meet at Dupo on Wednesday.  Participants and managers should be dismissed at 2:50.

Seniors, please remember to have your senior photos digitally submitted to Mr. Kreher no later than April 24th.


VESPA began selling 2015 yearbooks last week.  The introductory price is $45.00, but starting in April the price will increase to $50.00.  Please be sure to plan accordingly and purchase your yearbook at the discounted rate.

The preferred method of payment is by check, but cash is also acceptable.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Kreher.






·          Seniors-The Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation  Scholarship applications are now available for Physical or Occupational Therapy Majors, and Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants.  This is a renewable scholarship.  Information on this scholarship is available in the the High School office.  This is a local scholarship.  Deadline: 3-13-15.

Seniors-The Alpha Delta Kappa Illinois Scholarship is being offered to a senior entering college for the purpose of becoming a teacher.  Student must have a 3.0 or better GPA.  Additional information on this scholarship is available in the high school office.  Deadline: 3-30-15

·         Seniors-The Constant J. & Mary Lenore Comment Scholarship is available to students with a 3.0 or better GPA and a resident of St. Clair County.  If you would like to apply for this local scholarship, please pick up an application in the high school office.  Deadline: 3-31-15.
