The softball team defeated Okawville last night in one of the most stunning games in New Athens history. Take time to congratulate Erika Laumbattus and all the girls who contributed to last night's victory.

All volleyball players -- If you are working the elementary school camp you need to pay Mrs. Patton $30.00 by Friday, May 22. If you are NOT working the elementary school camp, you need to pay $60.00 to Mrs. Patton by Friday, May 22.

Senior exams will be give today and Wednesday (as needed) in room 303.

Underclassmen  will need to do a locker clean out Thursday during activity period.

The first day of underclassmen semester exams is Friday. Day two of exams will be Tuesday, May 26.  Students will take exams 1-4 on Friday and exams 5-7 on Tuesday.  Each day will begin with an optional homeroom.  Students who ride a bus to school may not leave the campus during the optional homeroom. All other students may report to their first hour exam at the designated time. Students arriving to school after 8:20 AM must enter through the superintendent's office and remain in the gym until a passing period. Exam times are different each day, so students are reminded to look closely at the posted schedule.

There is no school Monday, May 25th due to Memorial Day.

High School graduation is this Saturday at 2 PM in the junior high gym.

Students who have not made arrangements to serve detentions by this Friday will serve in-school suspensions during exam days and will also still be required to serve their detentions. Please see Mr. Works to schedule a detention time.

Congratulations to Rachel Kinzinger for being selected IL FFA top 10 Reporter's in the State of Illinois and selected for the IL FFA Band at State Convention! Also, congratulations to Krista Juenger for being selected as Gold Chapter President in IL FFA! These individuals will receive their awards at State FFA Convention in June!
