We are writing to inform you that New Athens CUSD #60 is currently without power due to a town-wide outage. Please be assured that all students have been served lunch.
We are currently in communication with Ameren to determine an estimated restoration time before making further decisions regarding the school day. Please note that our phone lines are also currently down. We will provide additional updates as soon as more information becomes available.

NACUSD #60 is requiring online registration for ALL returning students for the upcoming school year. Please log in to Teacherease via the app or website and complete the online registration. This registration requires a digital signing of all forms that are needed including the Handbook & Chromebook Agreement. There will be no paper copies sent home on the first day this year. Please update all contact information and emergency contacts. All fees can be found at the end of the online registration form. Free & reduced lunch applications can be completed online using a computer, as it is not available on the app or mobile browser yet. Paper copies are also available in the office. You can choose to pay online or at Open House on Tuesday, August 11 between 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

Parade practice for the JH and HS marching band commences tonight at 7-8:30 pm in the band room. Here are the practice schedules for the rest of the week:
- Tuesday, July 14: 7-8:30 pm (evening)
- Wednesday, July 15: 8-9:30 am (morning)
- Thursday, July 16: 7-8:30 pm (evening)
- Friday, July 17: 8-9:30 am (morning)
- Saturday, July 18: Parade at 5 pm. Students will line up behind Village Hall at 4:30 pm.
